TREE INVENTORIES
Canopy offers small and large scale tree inventories to clients for the purpose of collecting important data for our projects. Characteristics such as tree species, size, canopy spread, structural/health condition and presence of disease/pests are typically collected. This data forms the basis for our reports and recommendations.
SPECIES AT
RISK
Several tree species are now listed as a Species at Risk within Ontario and are protected. Landowners should be aware if these species are found on their property (especially land developers). The presence of species such as Butternut and Black Ash require health assessments and reporting to MECP, which Canopy is qualified to do.
